Energy Star

Hopefully, everyone should be familiar with the Energy Star program. It was established by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in 1992 and has grown to manage more than 35 products for the home and workplace from computers to washers and dryers. Using Energy Star products can save you money on electric bills and help conserve energy. A home fully equipped with Energy Star products can use about 30 percent less energy than a house equipped with regular products. Many Energy Star products do not cost more than regular products so make sure you look for that sticker next time you purchase any home products and appliances!
